I saw my mom having a stroke 10 years ago. She was writing and kept writing her letters backwards. Her voice was a bit slurred. I called and ambulance, they took her to the hospital and found she had a TIA, a mini stroke. It was found that she was producing too many red blood cells. They put her on a medication that corrected it. I probably added many years to her life.
