NASHVILLE, Tenn. – 15-year-old Darrin Fleming was charged with criminal homicide for shooting and killing his cousin Barrington Moore, 31, at another teen’s birthday party on Thursday night.

The preliminary police investigation shows Fleming, who is on juvenile court probation, was at the birthday party when his mammy called him and told him to be home by 8 p.m., which was required by the terms of his probation.

"Shitavious, you need to come home."

Shortly after 9 p.m., Moore, 31, arrived to find and take Fleming home. Moore found Fleming hiding in a closet, a fight ensued, and the teenager pulled out a gun.

Moore was shot several times in the torso and taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he died, police said.
