Donnel Geoffrey Brown was found unresponsive in his cell. Heath is charged murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a weapon by an inmate. Arrest warrants accuse Heath of stabbing Brown several times in the head, neck and chest. The warrant said he used a homemade knife to commit the murder. Prior to his cellmate’s murder, Heath was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
