Never being a liberal, I find it fascinating what made you change your mind and see the reality of the world for what it truly is. Was the change slow and incremental, or did something happen to make you change it overnight? Being a modern liberal is only a luxury of the young, spoiled and over privileged, yet most never grow out of it. I’m not saying you were spoiled or over privileged, but the majority are.
I consider myself lucky, when at the age of 14 I picked a book out of the library at school, it was called Stalin’s Secret War by Nikolai Tolstoy. It was just pure luck, that I picked that book, as it did change the way I thought about this world and the status quo. This book explained the truth and the horrors of the USSR’S wickedness and cruelty to the Russian Christian populations of Russia and it’s satellite countries. At a time when we were bombarded 24/7about WW2 and the “evil” Nazis it was a refreshing change and led me onto other similar books of truth about the evils of communism, so I was vaccinated against Cultural Marxist ideologies and Marxist, Stalinist or Trotskyite socialism and communism - no matter wishy washy liberalism - purely by reading this one book, which started my journey of anti communism, once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Once you realise your own leaders have been influenced by cultural Marxist ideologies, on both side of parliament/the house and senate, and that there are dark forces behind the scenes that have dedicated their whole lives to destroying the West - by filling it up with niggers and all sorts of third worlders - you can never be liberal.
