NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A beloved mentor, friend, and cRapper is good after a shooting in Midtown over the weekend. Police identified the victim as Christopher Cheeks, 32. His stage name was Chris King. A 29-year-old was injured.

Authorities said Cheeks was in an alleyway with some friends at 2:31 a.m. when three bootlips started interacting with the group.
