The electric Ford Mustang Mach-E just got a big price hike

The only problem I have with EV's are the expensive battery replacement. With today's current battery tech, these batteries will fail at some point (especially if you live in any of the upper half of America, where you get really cold winters). Also, if you have a home or live at an apartment that doesn't have a garage, the thought of leaving the car outside and plugged in all night doesn't make me feel safe leaving the car like that (when there's a good chance anyone or anything can do something to your car, the charger, etc...). We're talking about leaving the car plugged in to be charged for several hours and as the battery age, the time it takes to recharge the battery will take even longer.
