Portuguese explorers discovered the area in the 1400's and named it Camarao after the large shrimp found in the rivers. Various missionaries settled along the coast but were largely unsuccessful in taming the apes. The Germans arrived in the late 1800's and quickly pushed inland where they found tribes that had alphabets and writing, a system used to this day. It was subsequently discovered though that there were no magic niggers, the writing was a result of muslim influence on the north. The Germans declared the "Kamerun" a protectorate in 1884 and quickly worked on improving the infrastructure and building cities, mostly through the copious use of slave labor (smart). After WWI the Kamerun was divided between Britain and France who continued doing the same things as the Germans (i.e. Slave labor). The chimpouts over independence started in the early 50's and the French quickly outlawed the cat 5 Union of Cameroons bluegum party which incited a 5 year bongo party in 1955. The French grew disgusted with the apes in 1960 and gave them independence. In 1961 the British coughed up their part of the Cameroons and the 2 parts united.

Since then there have been 2 HNIC's, the latest being Paul Biya, a typical big boss nigger with a hideous sow of a wife. Surprisingly the country has one of the best economies in Africa and they have paid down their national debt from a high 60% of GDP to 10% of GDP. Despite all of this more than 1/3 of the country is living off less than $1.25 a day. Muh Dikk is prevalent with a birthrate of 35/1000 and a death rate of 12/1000. Despite having one of the best school attendance records in Africa, literacy rates are around 67% and girls mostly do not attend school due to rampant muh dikk and gibs berf. Heathcare is still predominantly through the use of witch doctors and nature is waging a war against the feral beasts through endemic tropical diseases and HIV which is at 5.7% but since reporting of cases is sporadic the rate is thought to be much higher.

The main industry is Oil, production of which has been in steady decline since the 80's. Lumber and logging is making up for the gap and all logging is done by foreign companies. Agriculture is mostly small plots scratched out with a stick and all large farms are inherently mismanaged by the HNIC's Homies. Despite the rampant TNB the country is still able export a good amount of Tobacco, cotton and coffee and starvation is not as rampant as in other nigger hellholes like Ethiopia. Chimpouts are on the rise, especially in the former British held areas where an independence movement is taking hold.
