Russia has, may it be justified or not, inherited a lot of bad karma from the soviet union. Back in the days soviets didn't care about rules of war and conventions, so false flags attacks and attrocities were comitted more regulary as with other powers. And you can now see that many things from the nazis, the soviets, and everything since ww1 up to this day is re-used, every propaganda trick or provocation technique is pulled out of the drawer.
I fear for the average Ukrainian civilian more than for the Russian, with the greatest danger coming from their own government. They are in a bad situation for many years and their gov does not follow rules and does not value peace & truth as it should if it really wants to represent the people's interests. It was already shitty when the pro-Russians were ruling the "united" country, but at least there was no open war.
The worst are the witch hunts, the ethnic discrimination of Russians, hysteria like forbidding "russian cats" (it's a cat race) to participate in competitions and so on... that are taking place in MSM and having their effect.
Does anyone remember the freedom fries, the weasels, and idiots signalling how much they are idk what were pouring out french vine on the streets and trampeling cheese? Anyone?? I remember how "cringy" and scary this was, to see how primitive and stupid some people can be made to be. And this was a form of virtue signalling comming from "the right", the neocon artists.
I for my part am not sure if it's the commie antifa, the intelligence agencies, or randomly excited people who are destroying Russian owned businesses and throwing paint on the shops like in Nazi times. They were also attacking businesses where the owners wouldn't take the vax and write anti-homo sapiens messages like in the 1930's accusing healthy humans to be mass murdering pipo with the 99.99% sneeze.
As a matter of fact there is a lot of overlap between politics, "antifa" and intelligence agencies and they are becoming increasingly nasty and dangerous since they are attacking people and businesses now, escalating their political violence and intimidation... In the end they are all in it together, including their Russian "enemies". They just want to divide our people inside and outside, deflect from their vax scandals and have a reason to enforce more blockades and have a "believable" bogeyman for their UN organized starvation program.
