A mother and daughter from Maryland have been arrested and hauled into custody accused of murdering a grandmother, 71, by dismembering her with a chainsaw and attempting to burn her remains on a grill.

The elderly woman's body was discovered after police visited the home and "immediately smelled the odor of decomposition," the police report states.

Candace Craig, 44, has now been accused of killing her own mother, Margaret Craig, and enlisting her 19-year-old daughter, Salia Hardy, to help dispose of the body.
