Age of Empires IV

I've been eyeing Age of Empires IV for a while. It seems like the game will be coming out this week on the 28th. There's 8 races and none of them appears to be niggers. I remember back in the day playing the original Age of Empires and I would use a trainer to give myself a huge boost, but also set the AI at the max boost for resource gatherings, etc... and I'd pretend the opposing force were niggers. Then I would spawn a bunch of those viper cars around the edges of my town and watch the opposing force get slaughtered, while I'm still working on building my town. Fun times back then.

My OS is "in retirement" so newer games are a nono in 99% of the cases. AFAIK AoE is from Microsoft, so I will not give them money because they got more than enough from me and Bill Gates is too evil, and Windows sucks.

But AoE was a very nice game. Woollolloooh ... I only played the Demo of AoE 1 many years ago when it was fresh and I really liked it, but never bought the full version. I played the Aoe II very often and through, though. I even learned a few turkish words from it and could recognize them later around me. lol.

As alternatives for AoE I found the Rise and Fall series, which features 3D and a "hero" you could use in 3rd person view to slash your opponents, sea battles with entering ships and so on. Pretty entertaining! And there is also 0.A.D. a non-commercial game similar to AoE.

But AoE IV looks truly amazing! 😳

I used to play the original AOE all the time back in the 90's. Great game, one of the best. I still have it but it doesn't work on new computers for some reason. Anyone know how to get the original version to work on new computers?

I might check out AOE4, I bought AOE2 when it came out but it got too complicated, I like the original. I also agree with OpenPeanut, I don't like giving money to microsoft.

They need Shaka Zulu for the DLC. Spear chucking, coconut throwing, and a well placed banana peel makes the nation strong.

Will see. Didn't like the direction they took for III so will wait to see what IV is like first
