I was a preteen and I didn't know much about faggotism. I wasn't bothered about Freddie Mercury or Elton John because fag culture wasn't enforced back in those days!!!
We watched a program about the Beach Boys and they didnt come more camp than that. I personally don't have any ill feelings towards gays but I can't stand the Pride crap and public kissing, don't agree with gay marriage and adoption either.

The British Capri's were Ford Cortina's drag but they did look good. We restored an RS2600 and now it's in Ford's collection in Cologne.

One of my favorite old British cars.

UK muscle car: The most iconic car in the series is NHK 295M, a metallic copper-bronze 1974 Ford Consul 3000 GT V6 (often mistaken for a Granada Mk1).

Same bodyshell and engines different trim but the Consul GT came with manual transmission. Talking of different trim etc the Jaguar Mk2 and Daimler 250 shared the same shell but had different engines and trim, we have a 250 V8 from a Daimler Dart in our workshop and a Ford flathead from a V8 Pilot, we actually had the Dart engine in a Westfield chassis for a while needless to say it went like Jenkum off a shovel.

You should do an MGB GT V8 if you can find one that hasn't reverted completely to rust.

We've already been there and done that, it was built using a fresh Heritage bodyshell and a 3.9 Rover engine with Westlake modified heads, my husband made the entire stainless steel exhaust system and we fitted it with Sebring wheel arches. We personally have a Volvo 850R wagon, an Austin Healey 3000 mk3 and my husband's 1969 Mini Cooper S, that's a re-shelled. MGB's are great Heritage make most of the parts and complete bodyshells, same for Mini's.

My brother has a B he put a 4.6 Rover in. Sadly he's a real asshole. I don't speak to him anymore. He got rear ended in a B when I was about 8, gas tank sent up a mushroom cloud fireball according to some local lowlife that witnessed it. He had to break the passenger side window to pull his girlfriend out (had a hardtop on it). A kid I played little league with restored a GT while attending technical high school. It was beautiful, he restored an early 911 also.

We've restored a 356 GS, I've helped my husband with 11 cars and five motorbikes since we've been together including my own Triumph Daytona and we had a Gardner Douglas Cobra replica with an LS engine, my dad said to me when I was about seven "If you are going to play with my tools you might as well learn how to use them" the Volvo P1800 we are doing for friend is our twelfth car build. My husband started as a panel beater for a coach and bus company then started restoring cars when he left the army just as a hobby but he's extremely meticulous, also we are into motor racing and repaired quite a few classic racing cars after accidents and in return we get invited to drive some of them too, our Italian friend used to be Jean Todt's personal assistant at Ferrari during the Schumacher era.
