Video captures second case of dog abuse in housing project; woman accused of beating Pomeranian

A Manhattan sheboon was caught on video kicking and yanking her 9-pound pup - in the same housing project where surveillance video captured another dog beating earlier this month.

Tiara Davis was busted Monday after repeatedly pounding Sparky, her 4-year-old Pomeranian, the ASPCA said. Davis - who is 5-feet-5 and weighs 200 pounds - beat the pup into unconsciousness.

"This is no way to treat your pet," said the ASPCA's Joseph Pentangelo.

Davis, 31, was caught Sunday in the elevator of her Broadway building in the Grant Houses in Morningside Heights. Overwhelmed, she snapped when the dog relieved itself too soon.

"I kept telling him, 'Sparky! Wait! Wait!' " said Davis, a vocational counselor for ex-offenders. "I became a little frustrated," she added. "It was never my intention to hurt him."
