PHILADELPHIA -- Some students at Martin Luther King High School are farming.
The Weaver's Way Co-op helped set up the garden for the students.
"It's a lot of work," said Siomare Cherry, a senior at the school.
The garden started as a vacant lot, overgrown with grass and weeds.
The students said they are learning a lot about plants and eating healthy as well as picking up business skills.
Some of the items grown in the garden are donated.
