"The 52-year-old Moody had asked that no last-minute appeals be filed to try to block his lethal injection Wednesday evening. It was the 17th execution this year in the nation's busiest death penalty state. Two more Texas inmates are set to die next week.

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to review Moody's case last year, ending a series of appeals. Moody said he was satisfied and was ready to die for fatally shooting 28-year-old Joseph Hall while robbing him of $2,000 at Hall's home in 1991."



What I dont understand its taken the shitskin 18 years to state he is ready to die??? And all for $2,000?? And its TAKEN 18 years for the shitskin to sit in his stinking cage???

The legal system as it stands is just a way of siphoning taxpayer dollars into the pockets of fucktards. Judges, prosecutors, public defenders, shareholders of companies that build prisons, and the entire operations that support these people are all paid for out of OUR pockets.

18 looooooong years to the tax payer for a robbery of $2000. Does anyone know how much it costs, on average, to keep a prisoner on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis? Granted this turd was on "deff row" & didn't have access to the common shit in general population (TVs, computers, trade & college classes, etc.), but I'm sure there were medical costs & court costs for those wasted appeals during his 18 year, all expenses paid vacation. I'd love to figure out how many times over that $2000 was repaid. Glad the fucker is dead now.
