Police have arrested William Buck Scott, 35, of Conway and charged him in connection with several burglaries that occurred in the city limits of Conway since November of 2008, according to a release from the Conway Police Department.
On Wednesday investigators in the Conway Police Department received information as to the location of Scott. Officers responded to the location and Scott was arrested without incident, according to the release.
Scott has been charged with two counts of burglary first degree, one count of burglary second degree, one count of grand larceny and one count of resisting arrest, according to the release.

In April 1941, during a meeting of the General Board of the Navy a body roughly comparable to the War Department General Staff the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Major General Thomas Holcomb, declared that blacks had no place in the organization he headed.
"If it were a question of having a Marine Corps of 5,000 whites or 250,000 Negroes," he said, "I would rather have the whites."
