Barack Obama's campaign is condemning as “tasteless and offensive” a New Yorker magazine cover that depicts Obama in a turban, fist-bumping his gun-slinging wife.

The New Yorker says it's satire. It certainly will be candy for cable news.

Intent factors into these matters, of course, but no Upper East Side liberal -- no matter how superior they feel their intellect is -- should assume that just because they're mocking such ridiculousness, the illustration won't feed into the same beast in emails and other media. It's a recruitment poster for the right-wing.

Liberals are the only ones I have seen who believe anything different. Anyone who knows anything about niggers knows that about the sow. I think that is also shown here as well as the muslim bit. A lot of liberals are worried this is going to affect the vote for obongo. I really hope they're right.
