I love the part where the niglet with the AK shoots at the soldier and misses, cut his dad in half lol.

Full Metal Jacket is my favorite.

    A Bridge Too Far.

Not Particularly factual, but superb casting and cinematography place it well above most others I've seen.

Not even Uwe Boll could screw this up given the cast...

James Caan ... SSgt. Eddie Dohun
Michael Caine ... Lt. Col. John O.E. Vandeleur
Sean Connery ... Maj. Gen. Robert E. Urquhart
Edward Fox ... Lt. Gen. Brian G. Horrocks
Elliott Gould ... Col. Robert Stout
Gene Hackman ... Maj. Gen. Stanislaw F. Sosabowski
Anthony Hopkins ... Lt. Col. John D. Frost
Hardy Krüger ... Maj. Gen. Ludwig (as Hardy Kruger)
Ryan O'Neal ... Brig. Gen. James M. Gavin
Laurence Olivier ... Dr. Jan Spaander
Robert Redford ... Maj. Julian Cook
Maximilian Schell ... Lt. Gen. Wilhelm Bittrich
Niggers. You know i hate 'em.

    Flight of the Intruder

An accurate depiction of the Naval air war in Vietnam...or probably as close to accurate as Hollyweird can make it.

The only downside was casting a nigger, Danny Glover I think it was, as squadron commander.

A few niggers flew Navy jets and, due to Affirmative Action reverse-discrimination, some of 'em were promoted eventually reaching Admiral status.

So maybe having a fat jig Commander in the movie was technically "accurate".

Well, primarily omissions rather than outrageous flaws typical of "Holywoodized" WW2 "true stories". Hmmm.. "not particularly accurate" was probably too harsh of language in retrospect admittedly.

The misery and death toll of the Allied captives was grossly downplayed IMO as well as the actions of the British forces who seemed to be pushed to the rear in this movie in favor of highlighting American forces, who in actuality botched a couple of key opperations.
The usual mistakes of "who did what and where" in one or two scenes.

Basically it's far more accurate than most, like i said but it certainly shouldn't be viewed as a documentary but as an classic and epic film that it is.
