Miami-Dade prosecutors on Monday formally charged a 16-year-old with December's shooting death of nigglet
Derrick Days.
During his arraignment,
Jimmie Bowen was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and two counts of felon attempted murder.
Police said Bowen, targeting a rival gang member, shot into an outdoor dominoes game in Brownsville, killing
Pierre Roche, 27. Killed in the crossfire was 10-month-old Derrick, who was sitting in his father's lap.
Derrick was the son of a Miami Springs police dispatcher.
A 17-year-old named
Bernard Jones, the suspected getaway driver, was also charged with murder for his role in the slayings.
A grand jury indicted Bowen and Jones on first-degree murder charges.
