    Default Buying a house!!!!

    So, my wife and I just got approved to buy our first home! Yep, we're gonna do all the usual regarding negotiation, fixed mortgage, inspection, etc but, I am wondering if any of my fellow Chimpers can offer ANY advice. I know that in my state, Real Estate agents are forbidden by law to say whether or not it's a bad neighborhood or crime statistics. This is a very, very nice white neighborhood we're looking at, but, have a concern about any nigger stragglers left over from the adjustable mortgage scam. Do you recommend the local police or a website that will give me the dirty? Much obliged!

    you could always google the crime stats for your area. what state and county or city etc...

    in nyc local pd has all that stats up on their website. and nytimes has a handi murder map etc..

    I used this when purchasing my home.

    Oh and above all, make sure your inspection comes back squeaky clean. I mean squeaky clean.

    Check for the following:


    Permeated cement (this one is easy to spot if painted, flaked and heavily eroded from water damage, or just water spots on the cement).
    Sawdust in and around the joists (this is often a clear sign of carpenter ant / termite damage)
    If septic, ask where the leech field is and survey the floral growth around the area. If much greener and much thicker than the rest of the yard, skip. If ANY sewage smell is present, skip.
    Check all your doors and windows. Owners like to skimp on keeping these up to date.
    If hardwood floors and loose carpeting, check under the carpet to see what shape the floors are in.
    Check the corners in ceilings near and around: vestibules, porches, foyers and anywhere else roof sections interact. You want to avoid any clearly present signs of water damage.


    Mind: Most old houses will have some, if not all of the above. It doesn't have to be a deal breaker. The septic one? That is ALWAYS a deal breaker.

    The best thing to do is to drive around the neighborhood on a sunny weekend afternoon and observe. There are a couple real estate websites that give demographics but I cant remember the names of them. Google the address and check each site and you should run into it. It's not Zillow but something like who is my neighbor or something.

    Yeah, realtors are forbidden to even mention race. It's called red-lining and has been deemed illegal for decades.

    Just make sure you get a good, thorough home inspection. Make the guy crawl under the house and in the rafters. As for the neighborhood, go for a walk, and talk to some neighbors. I would also take a drive at midnight and park in front for an hour or so on the weekend, and make sure the neighbors are not playing loud cRap or having parties with niggers or wiggers.

    Congratulations!

    Oh, and if you have school age kids, or plan on it, check out the schools.

    Do what I did, drive through the neighborhood at all hours of the day. 2 AM, 3 PM, and just see if there's niggers hanging out, make sure you check it weekends and weekdays too.

    when you get a chance leave the time you normally would leave the house, and come back at the same time you would be coming home to see how the area looks like.

    Drive around the neighborhood and ask people at random if they know of any hungry looking niggers living in the area.
    Find out how many houses in the area-especially on your street are rentals. Clusters of rentals generally tend to bring in riff-raff and niggers. I live in a very white small town with very few niggers, yet i had the luck that a house directly across the street from ours is a rental and some loud mouth sow and her fat ass teenage sheboons moved in there. That house ever comes up for sale im gonna buy it and burn it down.
