Probably because nobody was holy to Steve Jobs except Steve Jobs, and at that point niggers were so notorious for targeting Apple customers on subways/buses/the like. They'd look for the white earbud cords and mug them for their iPods an sheeit; it got so bad they had to issue a safety statement, which pretty much boiled down to, "We know how much you paid for your items, and how much you enjoy listening to music while you're going about your daily lives, but you shouldn't because niggers." If Jobs ever had a reason, it was that. Niggers hurt his profits, and anything that stood between him and his money was a target of his immediate ire.
