Dark Souls: Prepare to Die

So after talking to ambition_def, I finally decided to pick it up for PC, along with an XBox controller.

I'm not even past my first three zombies and I've died about six times already Mind you, this is also my first time playing with a controller on PC. Yea, this is definitely going to take some getting used to.

I like it so far, though. Wanted a game that's actually hard and I think that's what I got!

It'd be awesome if some of you better gamers could offer some insight, hints, tips and tricks that you've learned and share them here. Or hell, just talk about the game in general.

To be honest, I haven't played since I posted this thread. I've been very busy with work and an anxious mess outside of work. Not a great mindset to sit back, relax and play a game or two; especially not one as challenging as this.
