Default The Pigford scandal. "Deys raysus" turned into "uhz be nigger rich!"

Social Injustice: Turns out conservative crusader Andrew Breitbart was correct when he exposed a multibillion-dollar redistribution scheme to African-American farmers based on largely dubious claims of discrimination.

If there's a patron saint for government watchdogs, it's Breitbart, who was well into exposing at the time of his early death one of the most egregious examples of wealth redistribution in the name of social justice: the Pigford case.

A handful of black farmers who arguably were discriminated against in their dealings with the Agriculture Department were exploited by a racial grievance industry empowered by a government and a president out to fundamentally transform America.

Outside Breitbart and his Big Government website, only a handful of outlets, among them IBD, pursued the story. Late to the story, but welcome, comes the New York Times with an analysis that Breitbart was right, that Pigford became not a redress of legitimate grievances but a "a runaway train, driven by racial politics, pressure from influential members of Congress and law firms that stand to gain more than $130 million in fees."

The original Pigford settlement arose out of a 1997 class action lawsuit by Timothy Pigford and 400 Southern black farmers. They had apparently legitimate claims of discrimination against the USDA in its allocation of farm loans from 1983 to 1987.

In 2007, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, where 0.0012% of farms are operated primarily by blacks, began working to pass legislation providing even more money for new classes of claimants via Pigford II. These now included Hispanic and female farmers as well as American Indians and expanded by a decade the time that claims could be filed.

As president, he signed this bill in 2010.

Based on Census data reflecting the original period in question, the USDA first estimated only 2,000 claims would be filed. But in this age of victimhood and dependency fanned by demagoguery, "more than 90,000 people have filed claims" and the "total cost could top $4.4 billion," noted the Times.

It took the left a week to figure out how to attack the New York Times after of the paper of record published a front-page investigative article on Pigford. But the pushback has begun in earnest, using the Big Lie that criticisms of fraud, greedy lawyers, and political maneuvers are actually racist attacks on black farmers.

Left-wing allies like MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry,The Nation, and Colorlines magazine all went into attack mode against the Gray Lady for having the audacity to tell the truth about the multi-billion dollar fraud scheme that President Barack Obama has backed since his days as a Senator.

There are two longstanding and fallacious arguments that arise whenever there is substantive criticism of Pigford and related farmers' settlements. They come up so often that they are worth learning, because they constitute practically the entire rhetorical arsenal for defenders of the fraud. They are:

That criticism of the famers settlements is racist.
That criticism of fraud in the famers settlements is "an attack on farmers.” This is usually expressed as "an attack on black farmers,” which effectively combines both arguments into one.

If I had to guess....my conservative estimate would be all of them. My liberal estimate would be that none of them were actually growing anything. I don't know, maybe pot, but they can't even grow pot as good as white people.

Niggers haven't worked farms since 1865, and even then a great degree of coercion was required.

    Niggers farming?
Any social program always is geared to helping the niggers. Some whites will score, but make no mistake, they are intended to fatten the niggers undeserving pockets.

    Niggers cannot farm...

They cannot farm animals because all they would do is muh-dik them. The animals would get all sorts of diseases and the herd will be culled before a single steak can be produced.

What kind of veggies can they grow? Fruits? Nuts? The only thing they know about these items are buying them at the local supermarket on their EBT and SNAP cards.

Forget cotton. They would instantly suffer psychotic episodes of PTSD (Slave disorder).

Forget grains. they have no idea what that word even means. Even though buck's need flour to find the poosie, they have no idea where it comes from. Plus, "grains" sounds like "grams" and they would be cutting the corn with draino trying to make Crack.

    So what can niggers farm...successfully?
    I know!
NIGGERS! That's right. They are excellent at farming s! Especially in bulk. And there are multiple uses for this product. There is getting , there is , there is . They also provide and excellent source of muh-dikkery...a key to their daily supplemental requirements.

I apologize to all. Niggers are culpable, I mean capable, of farming. I should be ashamed of myself.
My wonderful Dad taught me a valuable lesson as a young man.

"Son", he said, "I am not prejudiced".
"I believe every white person should own one"

Niggers plus farming is always a fail. It's a simple mathematical formula, K=FCsquared, where K=fail, and F is the niggers, C is the mismanaging of the farm, and the squared part compounds the cost to everyone else.
