And at the fag-end of the procession was a long double file of the proudest, happiest scoundrels I saw yesterday--niggers. Or perhaps I should say "them damned niggers," which is the other name they go by now.

What about Blazing Saddles? Is that not a western?
The Wild Bunch. The action starts almost from the beginning and hardly ever lulls. In a way the movie has a sad note showing the end of the western way of life as the modern age of automobiles and technology are starting to take off.
Nothing changes unless there is a body count involved!
Love Tombstone the best.
Also adore The Man who Shot Liberty Valance. Lee Marvin - best villain EVER.
Nice that someone finally put the Gene Pitney song and the movie together.
Gorillas everywhere are fed up with being compared to stupid niggers.
Young Guns
Emilio Estevez was great as Billy the kid.
Correct. Best acting, best continuity of all the spaghetti's....
I'd give honorable mention to Silverado, but Danny Glover kind of fucks that up.
Having said that, Scott Glenn and Brian Dennehy make up for it.
Two Mules For Sister Sara and Open Range probably ought to get mentioned too....
