President Obama attended Easter church services at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington D.C. and the Reverend Dr. Luis Leon blasted the religious right for racism, sexism and anti-immigrant views.

According to the notes of a pool reporter attained by The Weekly Standard:

“It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back … for blacks to be back in the back of the bus … for women to be back in the kitchen … for immigrants to be back on their side of the border.”

Just like with America-damning pastor Jeremiah Wright, who was described as the ‘mentor’ and confidante of President Obama, this too will be brushed aside by those who can’t fathom that the president is anything but some smooth-talking messianic figure who was elected to save the United States of America from itself.

Niggers' arguments about "equal rights" have always come down to strawmen. Who's calling for women to go back to kitchens? The closest was actually in 1992, when Hillary Clinton mocked the concept, then actually did go make cookies.

Make the niggers go back to Apefreaka, make the illegal aliens go back to their countries, and get women back in the kitchen or living with their parents till they're married are three fantastic ways of saving money.

The world got along fine without niggers, the world got along fine without illegal aliens, the world got along fine with mostly men on the work force.

Instead now we have worthless niggers getting hired cause of AA n the Naacp.

There are few honest blue collar jobs cause companies are still hiring illegal aliens.

We would have twice the amount of jobs if women went back to being homemakers or living with their parents till they are married. (just saying so dont bite my head off, otherwise I dont care either way about this)

I have to disagree with a lot, no offense intended, of course. There can never be too much freedom: as Jefferson said, freedom limited only by the equal rights of others. The problem with limiting freedom isn't "how much," but rather, who. Neither Democrats or Republicans can be trusted with such power, because all political power inevitably descends into granting favors to those who support those in power.

Developed nations like the U.S. have shifted away from blue collar jobs not because of illegal immigrants, or even outsourcing, but because of technology. There's still a lot of U.S. manufacturing and farming, but it's done with a lot fewer people. Manufacturing has again reached an all-time in terms of gross output, and farm production keeps increasing. A century ago, a quarter of Americans worked in farming. Today it's less than 1%, yet we produce much more, and clearly it's not about illegal immigrant labor or outsourced labor.

If we go back a mere 100 years, there was no such thing as an "illegal immigrant," but rather newcomers who were willing to take less pay. Do you have any Irish or Italian blood? Until about a century ago, Italians were looked down on, and Irish a century and a half ago, as dirty, ignorant, uneducated, and often criminals. Sound familiar?

"Twice the amount of jobs" is a misconception. Don't ignore that it would be more than offset by families' sudden drop in income as wives left the labor force. It's because both spouses work in most families that allows the families to buy the things we have, and save money for the future, whereas if women returned home, there simply wouldn't be enough men to take their places. The drop in economic output would be catastrophic.

Think about it this way: if it were better for a wife to stay home so a family didn't have to pay for day care, a second car, and so on, they'd be doing that already. The fact that it's often a better financial situation for the wife to work, considering all the expenses of transportation and having appropriate clothes for work, is a testament to our wonderful modern economy that gives options to people.

This country and other developed nations were in fact quite poor in the days when "the womenfolk" stayed home, sewing clothes and doing household labor themselves. There was little trade in ready-made clothes that were within reach of the average person's income, and no devices to save labor and time. Nowadays that situation has turned into affordable, commercially available clothes and household appliances. Because of things like dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and washer-dryers sets, both genders can clean and maintain house, allowing a husband and wife to enjoy the wealth of two incomes.

Something else to consider: have you ever heard of the polygamists in southern Utah and northern Arizona, and if you have, did you know many receive food stamps? They're that poor, though the husband works while the wives stay home. And in their communities, there's in fact no demand for more workers. Quite the contrary, young adult men are often kicked out because there aren't enough wives and jobs to go around.

My Grandfather immigrated here from the Ukraine were his people were regularly persected by the Tsar when he was a child back at the end of the 19th century. He arrived and learned English, worked as an actor until he met my grandmother. He then became a contractor where he changed his religion to assure him of work. But he still practiced Judaism at home but went to church on Sunday. I never got to meet him, but seeeing the pictures I look just like him. He lived the American dream and raised five girls while my grandmother worked across the street at a stone and concrete business as a bookkeeper.

Those are the real immigrants. My father's family has been here since the 1650's. They were plantation owners. My father used to go back to Mississippi when he was child to help on the pecan trees.
