Planning a road trip on 4/1 with the fambly. We are planning on driving to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, doing some day hikes for a day or two. After that we are going to drive towards Vegas, and stop at the Hoover Dam (somewhere along the way we will also do a raft trip down the Colorado river). We will spend our last two days in Vegas where we will just relax n the pool all day at Cesears.
Although we are staying in hotels, we are also bringing our camping gear along just in case. Part of the Grand Canyon is on an Indian reservation, and they have a road where you can drive your vehicle to the bottom and camp. The park system hates this, but they can't do shit about it because its tribal land.
If anyone has any good advice about the canyon, or any good camping spots between there and Vegas let me know.
