If any of you have given up on working out because of joint pain or surgery nightmares this is the set up to get! Being a leverage machine it has taken the pain out of my work outs and instead of incredible joint pain I have that nice deep delayed muscle soreness you get from quality work outs. Being a neanderthal myself any way my joints couldnt keep up with my muscles and it caused havoc with workouts. Nothing like doing a bench press and your shoulder locking up,,,,,,that'll make you piss your pants!
I started back on a regular power work out, 4 sets of 5 on my core exercises with a 5 pound increase every week and the machine lets me comfortably press with no shoulder popping locking or grinding. The machine keeps all the movements in the "groove" and its all muscle push.
The dumbells are more stable feeling than regular dummies and are nice and solid. You probably wont be doing tri extensions due to the shape but everything else seems possible......Which way to the beach?
