Mr Ahmed Hassan, who escaped with slight injuries, said the bus christened ‘Modern Desert Cruiser’ left Eastleigh at 1am heading to Mandera, with more than 80 passengers.

Hassan said he was seated near the driver where he dozed off before being awakened later by screams as the bus veered off the road.

He claimed the driver abandoned the steering wheel and headed to passengers screaming.

“I saw the driver jump from his seat running towards the passengers screaming. In a matter of minutes, the bus hit a huge rock then rolled two times before landing on its roof. Some standing passengers were hurled out of the vehicle on impact,” Hassan said. He suffered cuts on the legs, hands and face.

The vehicle’s front tyres and the roof were completely ripped off.

I don't think the driver fell asleep, I think it was overcome by the nigger-stink and passed out, crashing the bus in the process. Luckily, nature ventilated the bus and set everything right.
