A group of sisters is accused of committing brazen crimes, and it was all caught on camera.

St. Matthews police said the Jefferson family stole wallets from hospitals and doctor's offices.

Police said the string of thefts has been going on for the past few months.

They were able to arrest one of those sisters, Lashonda Jefferson, Tuesday. Now, they're looking for her siblings.

Detectives said the Jeffersons made theft a family business.

"Keeping it in the family like this is probably pretty rare, but they're all family members," said St. Matthews police Detective Tony Ford.

Police said the sisters stole from so many hospitals and doctor's offices that they were caught on camera multiple times.

heh, I was in the hospital the other day for like 6 hours, this 50+ year old groid kept coming back to the waiting room to grab free 99cent snacks the hospital had a crap load of , she would grab like 6 granola bars, chips etc you name it, walk past n go into the next area, come back grab more, did it like 4 times that I know of.

Found out sometime later she was just there waiting on one of its own. I was looking for the bag she was hiding her food store in.
