Default We need more teachers and professors.

Our society needs more conservative teachers and professors to fight the stupidity of liberals and their brain washing. without it more and more future generations are becoming mud morons.

I do not see this happening. This perverse thinking runs amok now in basically every institution of learning. From elementary to university. There are conservative teachers. Not every person can believe the spew put forth by liberals can be true. However, because they are so outnumbered, the majority of them will simply put on a good show to avoid being ostracized by their peers and placed under a microscope by their superiors.

Here is a quote from a conservative teacher. See the link for the entire article.

"Liberals in academia are among some of the most closed-minded people I have ever had the misfortune of having to associate with, and they they gladly encourage people to believe in a received orthodoxy--as long as it's an orthodoxy that agrees with their own political commitments."

My wonderful Dad taught me a valuable lesson as a young man.

"Son", he said, "I am not prejudiced".

What we need is for those remaining few of us who still have a brain, to start creating their own school system. Basically an extension of homeschooling.
We protect our President, our courts, our banks and our pawn shops, all with men with guns.

However, our most precious possessions, our children, we protect with a piece of paper and a sign (the Gun Free Zone law).

Now, in response to the slaughter of 20 innocents, we propose to punish those (gun owners) who are innocent, and protect our most cherished possession, our children, with a another piece of paper (a new gun law).

The teachers themselves are not the problem; the core of the problem is WHAT is being taught. Affirmative action, political correctness, and these ludicrous "sensitivity" courses are just a few tumours in this cancer of knowledge. People are taught WHAT to think, not HOW to think. Learnt men can be fools, and even the stupid man can see the truth of that. Popular delusions such as man-made climate change, gender neutrality, the "social construct" of race and gender, the equality paradox, the hatred of science and religious teachings all play a part.

This new paradox of knowledge requires one to unlearn everything they have been taught to even catch a glimpse of reality. With history, one has to unlearn everything to know more, as I have. What they teach now is feminism, civil rights, and other white shaming, written in otherwise competent textbooks. A look at any foreword in a textbook and you will see the author giving thanks to a feminist or Civil rights editor, with no knowledge of history, for helping them avoid "sensitive" topics. Sensitivity is just another gateway to indifference, which is the primary goal of this new paradox.

The teacher is meant to teach the pupil not what they have learned, but how they can learn themselves. Teaching math by memory won't teach a kid how to do math, just how to remember. That is the current state of math and admittedly it did not help me much. The teacher may be bright in math but seems unwilling to teach it. The same with science: they desperately want to teach us that we are all the same, without mentioning the sensitive topics. Knowledge is now sensitivity. The pupil, then, has not learned anything; they have simply learned to mock what their teacher says.

Logic and philosophy courses have all but closed to give way to science for minorities. Yet logic and philosophy are tied closely to science, as is history, and if you don't teach all the pupil that becomes the scientist becomes corrupt, believing that science appeared out of nowhere. They become arrogant, and as such, temper things to get their way. Without logic, any person cannot deduce any popular claim. Pretty books and rhetoric that sound competent but at their cores are not can be easily torn apart by logic. The pupil of today knows nothing about logic, and as such, cannot understand their fallacious arguments.

A teacher that we all need knows the ridiculousness of today's subjects, but given the sensitivity, must be skilled in their rhetoric. As a result, the pupil becomes curious and questions their textbooks, because of that teacher. A true teacher leaves behind an impression that will help the pupil, not leave behind the impression that they are guilty of something.

Liberal teachers & professors believe (not 'think') that they are somehow 'progressives'
that are 'moving us forward' with their 'unique' perspective on the 'human condition'

Never mind that there is almost NO contradiction allowed on schools & campuses.
Its lockstep or out the door. If you dont toe the liberal line, no tenure, no chairing of a department, etc

Teachers unions are a huge problem, too. They are run by marxists who blacklist teachers that don't fall into line.

Tenure is a way of blackballing the unpopular, the ones who rub people the wrong way. If you are good at hiding your true thoughts and feelings, you may be accepted as an average Joe or Jane, and get passed along without much debate. I am sure it helps if you have an Obama bumper sticker on your Volvo, and people can remember you as supporting gun control, and other liberal causes.

Teaching and research often have very little to do with getting tenure. Yes, you are expected to have something published or have delivered papers at scholarly conferences, but, if you are an OK dude, it doesn't matter if it was pretty half-assed. Teaching is often the least favorite part of the job, and it doesn't really matter to your department if most of your students say that they have had better instructors. What matters most is whether you fit in or not.
