The shooting occurred at about 6:20 p.m. at Butternut and Knaul streets, Connellan said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens, about 5-foot-5, 120 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, black coat, green pants and armed with an illegal weapon, Connellan said. He was last seen running east on Knaul Street.
