Unfortunately, I just got it confirmed: Yes, she has burnt coal. Now I wonder why I never asked before...it just didn't cross my mind. For lunch I left it at "so you think integrity, honesty, hard work and intelligence can all be replaced by sex and uninhibited behavior?" (referring to the comment about "making it up"). Funny thing: she is the one talking of kids and marriage lately while I want neither. If I wanted a family the last thing I would do would be engaging in bestiality: once you go black you are a single mom (of a nasty sproglet that is).

I took the rest of the afternoon off (it is only 2:50 here on the west coast) to think about how to resolve this quickly and effectively. All trust I had until today has just been lost and I am even thinking of having a friend come over to witness the "eviction". I would not want to be falsely accused of violence or whatever other coalburner lottery schemes might be in store for me.
The thought of what might have happened in her past or even while with me is repulsive. Even if this sounds anal I am fully intending to shell out $250 for a professional cleaning of the house, even if it is just symbolic. I will update this once the confrontation will have happened....

If I were u, i would try to make this as "nice" and quick as possible. The best scenario would be if you could move your stuff out without getting into the big final argument of y u are leaving.

Thanks! I am not leaving, she is. We do not live together ft but she spends a lot of time here. I have packed up everything that is hers and organized it in a suitcase which I will allow her to keep. I will handle the conversation outside to avoid having to get her out of my place. Something along the lines of the advice handed out above will be said ("differences, I would rather be with someone else"). I feel quite a bit of guilt to be that ominous with someone I once shared most thoughts with but she would not understand my position anyways.
Referring to the comment about "pulling trains" and sexual practices: In hindsight I can think of situations where a certain callousness and "experience" shone through... trying to block that out. Fortunately, I just had a full medical including HIV, tb, hep testing done for a long-term work visa in Asia. Might have to take another one in a few weeks just to be sure. On the bright side I am legally unencumbered. Imagine finding this out after signing a marriage license or even buying a ring or having kids...
