Bradenton woman arrested for killing puppies after throwing them against wall

Two puppies that were violently thrown into a wall a few days ago are now recovering.

The woman who is accused of throwing the dogs is now facing charges.

Shaniqua Louise Porter, 19, has been charged with two felony counts of torturing an animal with intent to kill and two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals.

The incident happened Saturday night at a home in the 1000 block of 61st Avenue Terrace East in Bradenton.

Deputies said four pit bull pups were tossed against the wall during an argument between Porter and her roommate.

Porter reportedly came home in a fit of rage and proceeded to hurt the dogs, that are only around 3 weeks old. The dogs belonged to her roommate, who took them to an emergency pet clinic for care.

However, two of the dogs died from their injuries.

I'm not a bleeding heart for animals as it seems the previous posters are. Animals should serve an active purpose or they have no business being kept by people in the first place. 90% of animal owners have no business with them, being relegated to the status of yard ornaments or emotional crutches people don't want to adjust their lifestyle to fix whatever problem brought about the issue. PETA fucks would just love making the harm of an animal a felony. Of course this bleeding heart sentiment vaporizes when we go to 'ugly' animals like gators, sharks, frogs, etc. Hypocrisy.

That harsh criticism out of the way, there are many exceptions to the above, genuine service animals being one of the more obvious. Needless wanton cruelty toward any animal, killing for simple pleasure (sorry sport hunters), or the intentional infliction of true bodily harm to animals is just wrong and should be dealt with as in the above case. We are stewards of the planet after all. There are plenty of justifiable reasons to kill animals, food, hunting skill maintenance for survival types, over population, you get the point. Niggers too fall into this category, being a lower form of hominid in the Erectus branch. As a less developed species it is impossible to hold them to the same legal standard; however, as with any murderous beast in the wild (i.e. bear mauling cattle, damaging property, terrorizing people and causing a general ruckus) it is common practice to have the rogue beast put down. This commonly accepted practice should be applied in this case.
