A SUSPECTED car thief who threw bricks and tiles at police from a roof was rewarded with a KFC takeaway yesterday - to protect his human[sic] rights.

Looks like the journalist Sarah Hills forgot to put the word human within quotations in her sarcastic statement after the dash. If it was a human do you think the police would buy them a meal after throwing tiles at them from someone else's house? Obviously the police did exactly what they would do with any wild animal.. coax them out with their favorite food.
