Man sentenced to 27 years in prison for sexual battery of 3-year-old girl

WEST PALM BEACH — Every morning and every night, she prayed the man who raped her when she was 3 years old would be caught.
Testifying more than a quarter century after the assault, she stood in court Wednesday asking that Walter Earl Taylor be sentenced to the spend the rest of his life in prison.
She wondered aloud how her life would have been different if it never happened. She has two sisters who attended college, she said, yet she never completed high school.
