Harford County man charged with raping five year old
Child reported abuse to mother

EDGEWOOD, Md. - In the privacy of his home in the Edgewood Park Apartments, prosecutors say 27-year old Angello Osborne committed unspeakable crimes against a five-year old girl who later exposed him as a sexual predator.
"She actually used the dolls and demonstrated what had happened to her and demonstrated the sex acts," said Assistant State’s Attorney Diane Adkins-Tobin, who adds the young girl revealed the dark secrets to social workers at the Child Advocacy Center in Bel Air.
Osborne now faces a series of charges ranging from rape and assault to sodomy and other sexual abuse counts.
At this point, Adkins-Tobin says investigators haven’t identified any other victims.
"We're asking if anyone has any information concerning Mr. Osborne or his case to please contact us here at the Child Advocacy Center,” she said, “Certainly if any parents have any suspicions, they should do what the mother did in this case and allow us to do our jobs, to interview the children and to do the investigation, the way we're trained to do it."
The victim may have to take the stand to testify against her alleged attacker, but even if he’s found guilty and locked away, Adkins-Tobin says the five-year old victim will live with memories of the assault for the rest of her life.
