That's why you see them totally loading up the carts on their First of the Month holiday. Never mind that some stuff may go bad after a couple of weeks. And of course it's probably all gone by the middle of the month, because of their desire for instant gratification.

In contrast, I shop one week at a time, I have an idea as to what's going to be for dinner during the week. We have a weekly grocery budget. I get what we need first, then I might buy some treats.

Great post. I've had similar observations, but never could have expressed it in such an excellent essay form.

One point I would like to make: I've been to Africa, and I think there are wide genetic differences there between the small group of rulers, and the masses of people there. There are some smart Africans who think and plan. The smartest ones end up like Mugabe, because if they were moral they would be devoured by everyone around them, so they do use their higher mental abilities to dominate, but they don't use them to benefit their societies in any way.

Obviously the best thing for us to do is to give up on them, stop sending foreign aid, and also offer our blacks here the opportunity to return to a place where they will fit in better. "No more welfare, but you get a big wad of cash if you renounce US citizenship forever and return to Africa."

He makes the observation that African Americans have 15 points higher IQ than Africans. That also fits something else: even 100+ years later, in Liberia, the ruling class are still the blacks who returned from America. They obviously have some white genes and the IQ boost that comes with it. Same in Haiti. The ruling class are mulattoes. And again, it doesn't make them moral (as whites' higher IQ does here) because being moral doesn't work there. Their superior IQ only lets them dominate the others.

My opinion is that many of these genetically-superior ruling-class Africans probably have some white, or more likely Arab, genetics. Barack Obama's father, for example, was Kenyan ruling class, above African average intelligence, and I would guess of partial Arab ancestry.

I've always figured that Caucasians, living in the colder climates, had to plan and prepare and store enough food during warm months, in order to survive the cold months. That took some brains.

Also, while locked inside their homes for months at a time, waiting out the winter, they had to time to think, ponder, dream, imagine, and create stuff.

I think you all take the wrong angle on this, every human has the same 'potential' for development as another. But it is our environment which influences us the most. If born into a family of high achievers, regardless of color the child would generally aim high to the likes of college. But for a child born into a family which merely exists the standard would be lower. Now think animals, they rape and murder constantly, and yet they are still pure. Why would this be you may ask. Well its because in their existance, there is no wrong (moral conflict) in there actions. Now think Native Africans, perhaps they are so busy trying to survive till the next week that alot of the time their desperate existance in society draws from their development of abstract thinking. In that case, wouldn't it be impossible to blame them? I mean all society has taught them is to look out for number one, and im sure all you would do the same if nessessary. The African people are merely forced proliterians by the rest of society, but with racial barriers removed, what chances could lie ahead in development?

I worked a 12 hour day and came home. I jumped into the shower and I heard the doorbell about two minutes into my shower.

3 sheboons are parked in my driveway, not just in my driveway, they pulled to my front door....they are older, probably from some church.

This is one of the many ways that we are different...It seems small...but I would never dream of pulling up someone's driveway without an invite...

My kids sell things as well as half of the children in America...but I could never imagine driving up someone's property- I would never dream of it...
