COLUMBUS, Ohio --
Police say on May 3rd, 2010, around 1:43 p.m., Ruth Haukedahl, 88, was walking through the parking lot of Wesly Glen, 5155 N. High St., and was approached from behind by an unknown male. He was described as a black suspect wearing a white shirt and red pants.

The suspect punched Haukedahl once in the head knocking her unconscious. Haukedahl fell to the pavement suffering broken bones and additional injuries. The suspect stole Haukedahl’s purse and car keys then fled the area in a plain white Ford Crown Victoria.

Persons having information concerning this crime are requested to contact the Columbus Police Robbery Squad.
