POINCIANA -- Osceola County deputies have captured a 16-year-old who escaped from their custody earlier Tuesday.

Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies said they responded to a suspicious person call on Canterbury Court.
As they were putting Loggins, 16, into a patrol car, he struck one of the deputies and attempted to hit him with his head.
Loggins, still in handcuffs, then fled in the Marigold Avenue and Peabody Road area.
Deputies told News 13 Loggins was a non-violent offender.
Poinciana Elementary and Discovery Intermediate School in Kissimmee were on lockdown for a couple of hours during the search.
Loggins will be taken to the Osceola County Juvenile Detention Center. He will be charged with escape and battery on a law enforcement officer.
