Ugly bitch too!
Woman charged with strangling her child
When Edward Pamplona stopped to assist a woman he saw walking along the shoulder of Interstate 95, he thought the child cradled in her arms was asleep.
In fact, the 3-year-old girl was dead. And when Pamplona asked his passenger if she had done something to the child, the woman nodded yes.
"It was shocking," Pamplona said Sunday, a day after police charged Cheryl Arthur, 39, with strangling and suffocating her daughter Makeda.
Pamplona said he was driving home from work Saturday evening when he spotted Arthur walking southbound near Sheridan Street.
"I said, ‘Is your baby alive?' and she shook her head no," said Pamplona, the assistant manager of an Oakland Park car wash. "I asked, ‘Did you do this?' and she nodded yes."
