You're right Lady Bastille, East Indians are often depicted as white in older artwork, same goes for the Arabs. Arabs were the best astronomers and mathematicians in ancient times and gave the numbering system we have today. The only reason that Arabs are rich today is because of oil.

Not true. The astronomers and mathematicians of those times did indeed come from that region but they were not Arabs. Some were the forebears of modern Arabs, yes, but others were of Persian/Indo-European stock.

Islam is not "ancient", so, no, it didn't.

It is true that some important advances in mathematics were made by Muslims but their being Muslims was incidental to the fact. - They were people whose civilisations had already been studying mathematics for many centuries prior to the invention of Islam, so they would have made those discoveries even had they still been pagans/animists. Many of them may have spoken some form of Arabic but that was as a result of their societies having been overtaken by the Islamist hordes and forced to learn Arabic at swordpoint.

Islam's not that ancient. As a matter of fact it "burrowed" off of other religions. Their "Muslim" scholars weren't really Muslim but either Christian emissaries or white Arabs.

Every Christian culture on earth portrays Jesus to some extent in the image of its own people. Whites portray him as looking European. Asians give him Mongolian features. Big deal. The real Jesus probably looked like modern day Samaritans or Lebanese, since he was a first century Jew.
