Stupid nigger Gets Stuck In Chimney Attempting To Rob Home

SEATTLE -- Prosecutors have charged the would-be burglar who got stuck inside a chimney at a South Seattle home on Friday.
Shon M. Shanell, 23, of Seattle has been charged with attempted residential burglary for the incident that took place at a home in the 7700 block of Seward Park Ave. N. He is being held on $100,000 bail at the King County Jail.

Investigators said Shanell had made it most of the way down the soot-filled shaft, but the bottom proved to be too narrow.

"What they found is this male was sort of stuck on top of this fireplace flue," said Seattle fire spokesperson Dana Vander Houwen.

Neighbors called 911 after hearing a man's screams for help. Fire crews freed the man more than six hours later after dismantling the fireplace from the inside.

Police found a screwdriver near the front entrance gate of the home, as well as Shanell's green backpack lying by the home's garage, according to the statement of probable cause. They also found a central air conditioning unit Shanell had apparently used to get onto the roof.

Nothing was stolen from the home, but the chimney was badly damaged.

The homeowner's son told detectives Shanell did not have to permission to be on the property.

"You would imagine a house like that has an alarm system," said Jonathan Tran, the homeowner's son. "So, even if you get down the chimney, motion detectors are going to get set off."

On Friday Shanell was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Upon release, he was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of burglary.

Prosecutors, citing the 14 arrest warrants that have been issued for Shanell since 2005, requested a bail of $100,000. The mans' past criminal history includes possession of stolen vehicle and four counts of felony violation of the uniform controlled substance act.

Shanell is scheduled to be arraigned on March 4.
