First Grader suspended for sexual harassment

A Brockton first-grader was suspended from school for three days last month after school officials said that he sexually harassed a girl in his class.

NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported Tuesday that officials at the Downey Elementary School called the boy's mother, Berthena Dorinvil, on Jan. 30, and asked her to pick up her child from the school. Dorinvil said that officials told her that her son was being suspended for sexually harassing a 6-year-old female classmate.

"My son told me that the girl touched him first, so he touched her back," Dorinvil said. "I was shocked. I was crying. I was out of control," Dorinvil said.

School officials would not speak on camera, and police officers were posted at the school Tuesday afternoon. The school superintendent released a statement that said, "The safety and well-being of Brockton public school students and staff is of the utmost important to us, and we take all allegations of sexual harassment seriously."

Dorinvil has asked school officials to transfer her son to another school, but officials have not agreed to her request.

"When he comes home, he says, 'Mommy, are police going to arrest me?' I can't even make a phone call without him (asking) who I am speaking to. He is very frustrated because he is a very emotional kid. It bothers me so much to see my son go through this," Dorinvil said.

BROCKTON — It began with a 6-year-old city boy touching a (white) girl in his class, and it ended up costing the city $50,000 in legal fees – plus thousands more in city insurance payouts totaling nearly a quarter-million dollars.

The elementary school student, accused of sexually harassing a classmate as a first-grader in 2006, will receive a total of about $160,000 in a legal settlement reached with the city. His parents received $20,000.

Then, insurance kicked in. The city’s insurance carrier, AIG, paid out $240,000 in legal fees and settlements. The payments included:

The parents of the boy, Berthena and Phillip Dorinvil, were awarded $20,000. The boy will receive a “guaranteed lump sum” of $132,003.76 on Oct. 25, 2017, plus four annual payments of $7,000 each in the years before then, settlement papers show.

The teacher refused to allow the child to eat lunch with the other children and made him put his head down on his desk in the classroom while the other children were at lunch. With a number of teachers present, the little girl's mother was allowed to yell at the boy and threaten him until he was in tears. At this point white adult administrators subjected the boy to repeated "questioning", which included scolding and other frightening and abusive behavior. He was coerced into signing a statement without his parents present, or any advocate or lawyer. At the close of this racist frame-up "internal investigation", the Brockton School District gave the child a three-day suspension and immediately called the Ply mouth District Attorney and School Police.

Looks like they had the situation well in hand, considering today's realities. The white girl's mother was on hand to take the call. The nigger buck's mammy was probably either passed out, at some nigger party, shop lifting, and/or turning tricks. We all know how seriously niggers take their parental responsibilities.
