This book concerns itself with overpopulation as one of the main themes.

Without ruining it for anyone, there was one chapter in particular, chapter 22. Made some very good points, which are relevant to the nigger problem (at least in part) that I wanted to share, as food for thought. As you probably know, Dan's work, even if the story is fiction, is often well rooted in established science.

1) using a piece of paper to make his example, our bad guy talks about geometric progression: He takes the paper and tears it in half, stacking one on top of the other. Then does it again. He now has 4 pieces of paper, each 1/10th of 1mm thick. He posits the question: Now what if I did this, say, 50 times? Answer: He'd have 1/10th of 1mm paper, x2 to the 50th power. That would create a stack of paper that would reach almost the distance between us and the sun. Obviously, he uses this as an example of how overpopulation is growing at a geometric rate.

2) A person who is 61 years old now, who lived another 19 years to age 80, would see the population triple in their lifetime.

3) Each and every day, rain or shine, a QUARTER MILLION people are added to this number. Yearly, we add what amounts to the population of Germany to the overall population.

4) The World Health Organization defends how they address overpopulation by defending the money spent on places like Africa, dispensing condoms. Our bad guy points out that the Catholic Church goes in right behind them and tells all the niggers that if they use the condoms, they will all go to hell and won't get to be with Lawzy Jeebus. Consequently, Africa now has a new enviromental issue: Landfills full of unused condoms, and other birth control devices.

5) There are people living NOW, whose children and grandchildren will see the extinction of mankind, within the next 100-150 years at our current rates of reproduction.

6) More species of life have been wiped out on this planet in the last 50 years, than occured since between now and when the dinosaurs roamed.

He further posits that mankind will be dying on Park Avenue, drowning in their own excrement (hence the prediction for extinction)...Part of the story talks about what man will do as part of the breakdown, when resources are almost gone.

I found that chapter to be an excellent illustration of what I consider to be a major issue within the overall nigger problem. TR led a brigade of volunteers which fought alongside US Army regulars in Cuba at San Juan Hill, Santiago and other locales. Roosevelt and the Rough Riders became nationally famous because of the charge they made up San Juan Hill, routing the Spaniards.

TR's book described the conditions in camp and in the field they encountered very well and the book was a quick read...never getting too bogged down in minutia. He made these comments about the Negro troops:

"...On the hill slope immediately around me I had a mixed force composed of members of most of the cavalry regiments, and a few infantrymen. Among the rest were perhaps a score of colored infantrymen, but, as it happened, at this particular point without any of their officers. No troops could have behaved better than the colored soldiers had behaved so far; but they are, of course, peculiarly dependent on their white officers. Occasionally they produce non-commissioned officers who can take the initiative and accept responsibility precisely like the best class of whites; but this cannot be expected normally, nor is it fair to expect it...

None of the white regulars or Rough Riders showed the slightest sign of weakening; but under the strain the colored infantrymen began to get a little uneasy and to drift to the rear...this I could not allow, as it was depleting my line, so I jumped up, and walking a few yards to the rear, drew my revolver,halted the retreating soldiers, and called out to them that I appreciated the gallantry with which they had fought and would be sorry to hurt them, but that I would shoot the first man who, on any pretext whatever, went to the rear...

I ended my statement to the colored soldiers by saying: 'Now, I shall be very sorry to hurt you and you don't know whether or not I will keep my word, but my men can tell you that I always do.' whereupon my Rough Riders solemnly nodded their heads and commented in chorus 'He always does, he always does.'

That was the end of the trouble, for the 'smoked Yankees' - as the Spaniards called the colored soldiers - flashed their white teeth at one another as they broke into broad grins, and I had no more trouble with them..."
