A Northwestern University student was rejected for a “diversity and inclusion post” in student government because he is a white, heterosexual male, resulting in a sharp rebuke from the university’s student newspaper. Northwestern University’s Associated Student Government rejected the nomination of Stephen Piotrkowski for associate vice president of diversity and inclusion last week. The student-run committee “oversees diversity initiatives that stem from the undergraduate student body.”

“This university is not ready, in any capacity, for a heterosexual white male to be in charge in any way of diversity and inclusion,” said Ian Coley, a member of the diversity committee. “I don’t know if any university is.”

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- An 8-year-old Hephzibah nigger was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool, and now his fambly wants answers from Crackas!

It's been a little more than one month since the death of 8-year-old rockfish Jon Stevens.

An investigation by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office determined the death was an accidental drowning.

Now, Jon's mother, Jeannette Stevens, along with the Niggers @ Southern Christian Leadership Conference, is asking for detectives to take a second look.

"I miss my kneegrow," Stevens said. "I will not stop searching and finding answers."


Stevens says he was afraid of water and doesn't know how he could have gotten into the pool on his own.

"It's very suspicious," she said.

The European Union will pledge 520m euros (£442m; $673m) to help rebuild Mali at a conference of international donors in Brussels on Wednesday.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said the money would help the West African state become "stable, democratic and prosperous".

The conference is the first since France sent troops to oust Islamist rebels from northern Mali in January.

Mali's government has a 4.3bn-euro plan for "a total relaunch of the country".

It includes rebuilding government institutions and the military, repairing damaged infrastructure, organising presidential elections, holding dialogue with rebel groups in the north, and stimulating the economy.

Haiti won its independence from France in 1804 after the celebrated slave revolt that had been inspired by the French revolution of 1789.

But the French navy subsequently blockaded the Caribbean country and extracted massive compensation for the colonial power's property losses.

According to Tin, the amounts paid to France via the CDC between 1825 and 1946 were the equivalent of $21 billion in today's money and contributed to a legacy of underdevelopment that has left Haiti as one of the poorest countries on the planet.
