Look at them. Don't they look happy?

They were living peaceful, productive lives.

Their TNB was kept in check.

All they had to do was pick some cotton and they had a roof over their nappy heads and food.

They weren't running amok robbing and raping and killing.

They had a place and a purpose.


Now it's monkeyshines & niggerwhines 24/7.

Back when I was in college in the late 1980's, some friends and I were driving across the Mississippi delta region to go to a concert, and we saw a line of black farm workers picking cotten in a field, watched over by a white man on a horse with a shotgun in his hands. We thought, WHAT THE FUCK? IS THIS 1860 OR WHAT???? We stopped to talk to him, and he told us that his cotten picking machine had broken down for the day and that since the crop had to be picked by the end of the week, a lot of the local farmers were helping him out. When we asked him about the horse and the shotgun, he smiled and told us that he was doing overwatch for protection of the workers from the snakes in the field, that he didn't want "any of his niggrahs to get bit". We told him that we were just passing through the area on our way to Memphis, and the scene looked kind of "curious". He smiled, and then said "Kinda brings back them memories of them olden days, don't it boys?":rofl
