one of my all time favorites. In my opinion, black sabbath made "heavy metal" with their earlier songs, but sabotage was particularly fierce and really brought metal into the modern era.

1978, underrated because of ozzy being fired
it is a bit "pop" but still a good song

Black Sabbath set the standards that others are judged by.

I have always loved sabotage. I saw them in Austin in 78. They opened with sympton, but about one minute in the pa system blew out. A 30 minute break, then after about another minute in the pa system goes out again. Another 45 minute break and they came out and tore it up, but only for about an hour. I know it was not their fault, but at the end of the evening the crowd was screaming for an encore from the opening band. They were some young upstarts calling themselves VanHalen.

I was at that show in Milwaukee @ the Riverside! It cost $9!!
Just before Ozzy split.
Never Say Die is my all time favorite Sabbath record.
