My favorite Jerry Lee (true) story is that one night he had to open for Chuck Berry and he was pissed about it. So for his closing number "Great Balls of Fire" he poured lighter fluid on the piano and lit it up, playing all the while. When he saw Chuck Berry backstage he said "Follow that, nigger". This was also a good decade before Chimpy Hendrix lit up his giutar and was no doubt the inspiration for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yRdDnrB5kM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw-ZBookLRM&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI1ODw9lfck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPjDEZE7G3I&feature=related

I saw Jerry Lee perform about 8 years ago. WOW. He had to have a young lady help him to his piano but as soon as he sat down it was like he was 20 years old all over again. He played an entire 90 minute set non stop and even stood up and kicked over his piano stool. Long live The Killer.
