Blogs and Adsense: need Constructive Criticism

Well, I've decided to see if I could make some money online. So I've set up a blog at blogger and put up a bunch of adsense ads etc. I was wondering, are there any others here who are doing something similar, trying to make some money online? Please check out my blog here (http://reginaforbes.blogspot.com/) and let me know if it looks like something people would read and could be helped by it and if you are adept at this kind of thing, do my ads look out of place, and any tips on how my blog could be more productive would be helpful.

I am in the online business myself, and have to say that AdSense IMHO does NOT pay either way (either as AdWords nor as AdSense).

For me(a tech web site), I got a maximum of 2 dollars per 1k hits...which is why I switched over to getting sponsor customers back then. They have worked very well for me - until the recession came. I now use it a little bit, but don't really make loot off it.

As for AdWords: it all depends on your parameters and the product prices. But it rarely worked out for me so far.
