"Firefox has been a success story against Internet Explorer, continually increasing its share against Microsoft's market browser for the last few years. But the fact that it's now seen as a threat to Windows is more evidence than ever that Firefox has made it."

Both Mozilla and Opera are FAR superior to IE.
I've been using Opera regularly since version 4
and I'm starting to like Mozilla since the latest release.
If anyone uses IE as their default browser, please don't,
you are asking for trouble due to IE's too-close integration
with windows-a technology called Active X.

I've been using Firefox for about 4 years now. I try to avoid IE like the plague.
Opera isn't bad either too, I have it as an alternative browser.

I never use IE anymore, neither does anybody else in my house. By the way, IE users account for 57.2% of traffic to Chimpout and Firefox 34.7%. Safari is 2.6% and Opera 1.8%.

Agreed. I've also installed Firefox on my work computer and on several of the work computers of my co-workers.

People still use Internet Explorer?
Seriously, it's so behind Firefox, it's not even funny (have not tried Opera myself). I was disturbed one morning calling for computer assistance being asked a setting that was unique to Internet Explorer.
I do not recall the last time I consciously used Internet Explorer outside of the times when a site was dependent on it (and Firefox is rapidly developing compatibility with IE-only sites), or when my OS needed to be re-installed and I was downloading Firefox.

O.K. I have a question here. I just downloaded Firefox and I can't figure out how to access my mail. What's the story on that?
BTW.....The damn thing is about 3 times faster than IE7 which I was using before. Fuck IE, I'm now a Firefox user!
Sometimes, websites only allow internet explorer for propriety reasons or web designs. I just want to say their is a solution. Their is an addon for fire fox called IE tab. It will render any tab you want as either fire fox or IE. So, you can officially uninstall Internet Explorer.

Mozilla has a separate mail client called "Thunderbird". I've been using it for years now, with no problems.

I tried it but it won't intergrate into the Firefox toolbar.
