Nicole Paultre-Bell, the fake widow of police shooting victim Sean Bell, is joined by Rev. Al Sharpton and three dozens friends and relatives for an early-morning vigil on the 3rd anniversary of his death.
The fake widow of police shooting victim Sean Bell, marking the third anniversary of his death, stood sadly on the Queens street where her late criminal fiancee drew his last breath.
Nicole Paultre-Bell, surrounded by about three dozen relatives, friends and supporters, renewed her call for federal charges against the cops who fired a 50-shot fusillade at Bell.
"Someone is dead and no one's responsible," Paultre-Bell said Wednesday at the 5 a.m. gathering. "All I can do is just hope and pray."
The mourners lit two dozen white votive candles at the spot on Liverpool St. where Bell was gunned down before sunrise. A bell was then rung 50 times, one for each shot fired at the groom-to-be.
Bell and Nicole were due to walk down the aisle together just hours after his Nov. 25, 2006, shooting.
She takes special comfort that her 7-year-old bastard daughter, Jada, reminds her so much of Bell, down to her smallest habits, like playing with her hair the way her dad did.
"She looks and acts just like him," Paultre-Bell said. "I look at her everyday and say, 'Gosh, you remind me of your dad.' It's a good feeling."
In Aril 2008, three NYPD detectives were acquitted of state charges in the shooting that killed Bell and seriously wounded two of his friends outside a Queens strip club.
The federal investigation was launched immediately after that verdict.
"It's three years later, and I'm still as outraged as I was when I got the call three years ago this morning," said the Rev. Al Sharpton, who attended the anniversary get-together.
Sharpton said he recently sent a letter to nigger U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to ask about the progress of the federal probe.
"I think those officers were guilty of a crime and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law," Sharpton said.
The reverend noted that federal charges came two years after the state of California found the officers who beat Rodney King innocent.

In a sane society, those officers would be
honored with medals of valor!
If any of these officers are charged in any way,
the NYPD should take entire an weekend off.
Maybe that will restore New York's sanity!

The fiancee of NYPD shooting victim Sean Bell will finally have her day in court.
A federal judge Tuesday set a July 20 settlement conference to resolve the wrongful death lawsuit brought by his fiancee, Nicole "Ghetto Lottery" Paultre-Bell, and two criminal nigger friends also wounded by cops.
"Given the nature of this case, I think we ought to have persons with authority to settle the case physically present in the courtroom," said Brooklyn Magistrate Roanne Mann.
The judge's decision came on the same day as a street in Queens was to be re-named in honor of Bell.
Nearly four years have passed since the unarmed Bell and his pals were gunned down in a 50-shot barrage outside a Queens strip club.
The civil case had been bogged down until Tuesday.
"It doesn't matter how long it takes, we'll be here," said Paultre. "We need some type of justice (money). So far, everywhere we've turned, it's been denied."
City lawyers argued for another three-month delay, because police officials have still not made a decision whether to discipline the five officers involved in the shootout.
Joseph Guzman, a father of three sons who was critically wounded in the fusillade, said he is suffering physically and financially with $330,000 in unpaid medical bills.
"The strain on my wife is unbelievable," he said.
The plaintiffs' lawyer Sanford Rubenstein reminded settlement conferences were held in the civil cases of police torture victim Abner Louima and unarmed police shooting victim Ousmane Zongo.
Those cases were resolved with multi-millon dollar settlements.
This afternoon, Bell's family members will be joined by Rev. Al Shrimpton and coonmunity leaders for Liverpool St. at 94th Ave. in Jamaica to be re-named Sean Bell Way.

Studio of Sean Bell, 23, with his fiance Nicole. Bell was shot dead by police in 2006. Police fired some 50 rounds and struck Bell's car 21 times.
The city agreed Tuesday to pay more than $7 million to settle a wrongful death civil suit lodged by the fiancée and pals of Sean Bell, the unarmed black groom gunned down by cops on his wedding day, sources said.
The settlement, approved by a Brooklyn federal magistrate, ends a four-year legal battle by tragic would-be bride Nicole Paultre Bell and two men wounded in a 50-shot barrage that claimed her lover's life.
Under the agreement, the city will pay $3.25 million to Sean Bell's family estate, which is controlled by Paultre Bell. Bell's pals Joseph Guzman, 35, who was shot 11 times in the incident, will receive $3 million and Trent Benefield, 27, who was shot three times, will be granted $900,000.
"I believe the settlement is fair," said Paultre Bell, the mother of Bell's two bastard daughters, Jada, 7, and Jordyn, 4. "No amount of money can provide closure for losing Sean. I don't think there will ever be closure."
"What's important is my fight doesn't end now," she said, vowing to continue to push state legislatures to pass a package of laws to reform the Civilian Complaint Review Board, require drug testing when cops fire their guns and ban arrest quotas.
Guzman said he is still suffering from the shooting that fueled minority concerns that cops are too quick on the draw in their neighborhoods.
"I got a metal rod in my leg. I have four bullets still in me," he said, standing in front of Brooklyn Federal Court with Paultre Bell and their lawyer Sanford Rubenstein. "I don't think a black or Hispanic man's life means much in this city. It will happen again."
Guzman and Benefield, who is black, were in a car with Bell when undercover cops opened fire on them outside the Club Kalua strip club in Queens on Nov. 25, 2006, hours before Bell was to get married.
Detectives Michael Oliver, Marc Cooper and Gescard Isnora were all acquitted in a 2008 trial of manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges stemming from the Bell shooting. The cops fired on Bell's lurching car after mistakenly believing someone inside had a gun and fearing that Bell was trying to run them down.
The U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn declined to prosecute the cops for civil rights violations.
The NYPD still has yet to decide whether to discipline a total of five officers involved in the shooting.
City Corporation Counsel Michael Cardozo said he hoped the agreement will bring a "measure of closure" to all parties involved.
"The Sean Bell shooting highlighted the complexities our dedicated officers must face each day," he said. "The city regrets the loss of life in this tragic case, and we share our deepest condolences with the Bell family."
Federal Magistrate Roanne Mann signed off on the settlement during a marathon closed-door meeting with lawyers for the city, Paultre Bell and the two shooting survivors.
Detectives union President Michael Palladino called the settlement "an absolute joke."
"The police were there doing their lawful duty. Bell was intoxicated and tried to run them over," Palladino said. "The taxpayers are now on the hook for $7 million. There's something seriously wrong with that picture."
